This is pretty interesting reporting. Within this 37 second clip, she says
- Police say it quickly turned hostile.
- Officers say the group didn’t have a permit and didn’t stay on the sidewalks and that forced them to take action.
- Police say one officer was scratched on the face and spit on
No interviews with protesters for their side of the story, apparently. Is this journalism or reporting? This is a textbook definition of a one sided. If the police weren’t part of the story and were just a spectator, then this wouldn’t be a one sided story. But they were. So what the hell?
Fade Into You - Mazzy Star
Yes, please. I need some beauty.
I don’t think they make ‘em like this anymore. I just realized what missing with “this music today” is that it just doesn’t give me chills or make the hair on the back of my neck stand up like Mazzy Star did.
I had to recut this after the debate last night.
The problem with fundamental Islamic societies (in regard to women’s rights) is that they believe that if a woman is raped, the resulting pregnancy is a gift from God. Just kidding. That’s actually Rick Santorum who believes that. And he is one of the last four candidates running for Republican nomination.
Last night, a Democratic campaign manager in Arkansas arrived home to find his child’s cat murdered, the word ‘LIBERAL’ written on the carcass.
Wtf, people.
Republicans don’t trust anyone…except Fox News, according to Public Policy Polling’s TV news trust poll. On the other hand, Democrats and Independents tend not to trust Fox, but they do trust every other network. Read more here.
It’s funny that after Fox News they trust PBS the most and yet, they want to defund the crap out of them.
How can you be so skeptical of so much and absolutely not skeptical at all about one thing?

Newt goes on the offensive after CNN’s John King brings up the “open marriage” controversy: After John King opened the debate with the mention of his ex-wife’s upcoming interview, King asked Gingrich, “Would you like to take some time to respond to that?”. Newt: “No, but I will.”
Gingrich called the “elite media” destructive, calling CNN’s decision to bring up the controversy “trash.” He added, ”I’m appalled you would begin a presidential debate like that.” Based on the audience’s roaring applause throughout Gingrich’s criticism of CNN and the mainstream media, I’m guessing they couldn’t agree more.
I believe that the personal lives of candidates are irrelevant unless they are doing something illegal. And the controversy about Gingrich and his ex-wife is still only alleged. So whether or not he wanted an open marriage with his ex-wife is not what gets under my skin.
What gets me is that it seems that in the minds of his supporters who give him a standing ovation, these claims aren’t even alleged. They are just lies to get past. And not because they don’t believe that the personal lives of candidates are off limits but because they simply want a new president. So this gives Gingrich, as well as themselves, a blank check for hypocrisy for their belief in the sanctity of marriage. They will throw that under the bus and probably compromise on any other standards just so that they can get a new president.
Hate filled passion is strange like that, I guess.
